Dear Chapel Art Centre goers, Supporters, Agencies & Artists

I hope you are well.

As you may be aware – nearly all venues – particularly small non-government or charity supported ones are currently closed, and because of that, we are threatened with imminent closure if extra funds don’t materialise soon.

Please be assured that if you have purchased tickets, or have yet to purchase (perhaps), your tickets are secured and ring-fenced and therefore protected.

I wanted to let you know that we started a crowdfunding project on 25th April for which we were aiming to raise £20,000. This was set up for us through MVT (Music Venue Trust) for an initial period of 14 days, however, MVT under the current difficult circumstances has very kindly agreed to extend our deadline to 1st September.  This is good news bearing in mind the Music/Entertainment Industry will be one of the last businesses to exit lockdown, so hopefully this opportunity will give us more much needed time to meet our target.

Please consider supporting your local venue(s) in Bath with this appeal, and if we reach our target, all further funding will go into a national pool to help other struggling venues.

Any help will be gratefully received. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. All the best & thank you for reading this.

Please note, you can give as little as £10.00 or as much as you can afford.  You can also donate anonymously if you wish.

I would like to apologize in advance if you are emailed regarding this more than once, since I am using my Contacts list and my customer ticket lists to email you all, and some of my regulars may receive more than one email, so sorry about that!
