Will Lawton’s piano-based songs and Weasel’s superb drumming on a stripped-down kit make a heady and hypnotic sound that’s both highly original and hugely accessible. The duo released their debut album, ‘Fossils of the Mind’ in 2018 and are amassing a strong reputation in the West Country. This expanding band are joined by Buddy Fonzarelli (bass), Ami Kaelyn (guitar and vocals) and Harki Popli (tabla) for this special concert. They are currently recording their second album and will perform new material from this forthcoming release.

“The music of Will Lawton and Weasel Howlett fearlessly dips its foot pedals into folk, jazz, drum and bass and a smattering of indie, all served up with intelligent piano playing, intricate drum patterns and a husky voice. Beautifully arranged music.” Dancing With Architecture

“Get your ears around some wonderful Americana” BBC Introducing

“Refreshing, fascinating and exciting. Perhaps this is what Tom O’Dell fronting Wilco would sound like if produced by Roni Size? Regardless of how chaotic this sounds, it works. I mean it really works.” The Ocelet Magazine

The bare-footed folk pixie offers upbeat witty songwriting with infectious charm by the spoonful. Playing solo with her old guitar, Tamsin delivers unique and charismatic Folk/Americana vibes with a twist of intriguing and whimsical storytelling. Her live performance will leave you mesmerised. This is part of what makes her live shows so special, and has resulted in a great local following, playing many gigs in Wiltshire and further afield. Already having some big support slots under her belt including The Strawbs, Beans On Toast and She Makes War, there is no doubt she is on her way to greater things.
