Dear Supporter of Chapel Arts,
I hope you are well.
As you may be aware – all entertainment venues are currently closed and are therefore at risk of ceasing to operate. This is particularly true of small venues, because generally, they have no external Arts Council, support but rely on patrons. Venues such as ours are threatened with imminent closure/failure if extra funds don’t materialise soon.
As you have supported Chapel Arts Centre (a not for profit with charitable status) by attending gigs and concerts, I wanted to let you know that we have started a crowdfunding project via which we are aiming to raise £20,000 to fund us during this shutdown to enable us to re-open as soon as it’s over. We would love it if you could register your support and/or donate using the link below to access our crowdfunding project page.
Please consider supporting your local venue(s) in Bath with this appeal, and if we reach and exceed our target, be assured that all further funding will go into a national pool to help other struggling venues.
We’re only just starting on this – and any help will be gratefully received. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated by the team and all the artists that play at Chapel.
All the best & thank you for reading this.
