Latest Government Update to be implemented from 5th November until 2nd December 2020.
The Chapel Arts Centre will be closed during this time. All ticket holders will be contacted in due course. I am working towards freeing up some dates in early 2021 in order to reschedule all events that were to take place during this time.
You will then be asked if you would like to retain your ticket for the new date or refunded. Please bear with me, this is a lot of work, but I will be in touch.
Hello Chapel Goers
I am very pleased to be able to let you know that we have just received some government funding. We’d like to thank the Music Venue Trust, Arts Council England and @dcmsgovuk for their help.
Since we were able to re-open from mid-August with all our COVID measures in place, and most importantly were supported by you, whether that be you purchasing tickets or retaining your ticket/s from a previous show which was postponed, (some more than once, and some well into 2021), this has really assisted us with cash flow, and therefore helped us enormously, so a huge thank you to all of you from Jan and The Team at Chapel, and may we continue to survive in these uncertain times.
I would also like to thank all our customers who would have supported us, but are self isolating and/or looking after elderly parents – We look forward to welcoming you back on the other side!!!!!
Sincere thanks to all our awesome patrons!
Stay safe and well!
Jan & The Chapel Arts Team
In-line with further Government Guidelines dated 22nd September 2020, all event timings have been brought forward:
Doors: 7.00 p.m.
Performances will start between 7.30 p.m. –7.45 p.m. (depending on how full the venue is, since we now have to provide table service, which takes longer to perform), and our interval might be extended to accommodate this.
Since we come under the banner of ‘Grass Roots Music Venues’ we are still permitted to have music beyond the 10.00 p.m. curfew imposed on Pubs & Restaurants, but we cannot sell drinks beyond 10.00 p.m.
In line with the latest Government legislation/restrictions and The Music Venue Trust, dated 14th September 2020, Chapel Arts Centre is open for business.
New reduced capacity of 48, with 1 meter distancing in all directions for all events up until March 1st 2021.
All events are seated Cabaret with round Café style tables. 2 customers per table, unless pre-booked in advance, up to a maximum of 6 customers seated together who are in a bubble – as per government guidelines (only one area can accommodate this), plus some tables can be set up to accommodate parties of 4. (If you haven’t booked these tickets under one booking reference, please call or email me in advance.
We have extensive COVID measures in place and can’t wait to welcome old and new customers back to our lovely venue.
