A celebration of the music of Anthony Newley
WHO?
Anthony Newley is the greatest British songwriter you never knew you knew.
He’s the rags-to-riches showman who rose from East-End poverty to Broadway superstardom; the performer who inspired David Bowie, who married Joan Collins, who wrote hits for James Bond, Nina Simone and Willy Wonka; and who rewrote the rules of showmanship with his edgy, comic and Typically English quirks (which charmed the pants off America).
WHY?
It’s all about the music.
Tony Newley was the man behind such greats as ‘Pure Imagination’, ‘Feelin’ Good’, ‘The Candyman’, ‘Goldfinger’, ‘What Kind of Fool Am I’ and ‘Once in a Lifetime’ – hits which moved both hearts and feet in the 60s and continue to do so today.
There’s a hell of a lot more besides – and 20th Century Foxes is busily sniffing out the best of Newley’s lesser-known gems to give them our own flamboyant razzamatazz in an ambitious live stage show.
You’ve seen us do everything from Rat Pack smooth to fiery Latin – so come down, see how we rock this quirky collection!
WHAT?
Whether you’re a Newleyphile or Newley Newbie, you’re about to enter a world of Pure Imagination.
This is Newley – expect the unexpected.

That’s all, folks!
