“One of the Eagles’ great strengths is that they make everything sound so simple, but when you come to pick it apart, you realise how much is going on and what great songs they really are,” says Sam Confrey, lead singer of the Alter Eagles. “And it’s always a thrill to play those classic songs in front of a live audience.”
Since 2004, the six piece Alter Eagles have established themselves as the UK’s most faithful tribute to the one of the most popular bands of all time, playing all the Eagles’ biggest hits like Hotel California, Life In The Fast Lane, One Of These Nights, Lyin’ Eyes, and New Kid In Town, as well classic ballads like Desperado and Wasted Time. There’s also room in the two hour show for some solo outings – Henley’s Boys Of Summer for example, and Joe Walsh’s Rocky Mountain Way, but nothing gets in the way of delivering a true Eagles experience with five part harmonies and plenty of rocking guitar.
