CATLEA is an American-born artist from Cincinnati, Ohio, now based in London, whose music fuses emotional honesty with striking sonic landscapes. Drawing inspiration from acts like Pvris, Mothica, and Half-Alive, CATLEA crafts a sound that balances vulnerability and strength—exploring themes of betrayal, transformation and healing.

Jess Chivers will join us at Chapel Arts

Jess Chivers is a Bath-born alternative indie artist whose music blends emotional honesty with melodic, guitar-led songwriting. Drawing influence from Adrienne Lenker, Alanis Morissette and Deftones, her songs balance softness with moments of raw intensity. Her debut EP The Skinny Queen Manifesto, released in March 2025, introduced a direct, conversational writing style and was named Album of the Week on Xpress Radio. Around this release, Jess also collaborated with Bristol-based band Adult Leisure, featuring on their album The Things We Don’t Know Yet on the track “The Rules.”

Jess is currently releasing music from her forthcoming EP, moving toward a darker, more alternative sound while keeping the intimacy that defines her songwriting. Her latest single, “Ravens on the Roof,” explores themes of loss and change. Her live sets lean into connection and storytelling.

Their ground-breaking concept album, ‘Language Barrier’, recorded in Barcelona Spain at Room To Studio with producer Jason Boshoff (Ed Sheeran, Josh Groban, David Gray, Rufus Wainwright) and guitarist Oscar Garcia-Bragado is CATLEA’s powerful ten-song masterwork about sifting through the ruins of a broken relationship to create something beautiful and timeless. CATLEA’s songs invite listeners to look inward, to heal, and to embrace change—the perfect soundtrack for those looking to find themselves.
