Clyve, is back at Chapel Arts for his 4th Special Christmas Show for an evening of soul, funk and seasonal favourites. Over the past 5 years he has performed to thousands all over the UK, as well as in the USA, and with his band, create a brand of neo soul, whilst keeping the soul sound of the past, and is guaranteed to make you dance with tracks from the likes of Chic, Chaka Khan, Motown Legends and even Beyonce. This year has seen Clyve complete his brand new album “Blue Eyed Soul”, which was originally started in Bath, moved on to NYC and then the majority finished off at Puzzle Maker Studios in Bristol. The album is already getting great reviews and next year he will take the “Blue Eyed Soul Tour” around the UK as well as in Europe and USA. This year has also seen him performing at the 2018 Special Olympics Opening Ceremony in Scotland with the Red Hot Chilli Pipers, five years on from performing and writing the Official Anthem “Living Our Dream” in the iconic Royal Crescent at the 2013 Games here in Bath.
Over the past five years he has performed in front of thousands all over the world, with his live shows always getting rave reviews. He has also been involved in various musical styles over the past decades, fronting Frame By Frame in the 80’s, and in the 90’s, enjoying European Dance chart success with “Painted Moon”. He made his US live debut in 2001 in front of 200,000 in Washington DC and then after a short time in musical theatre, started the Blue Eyed Soul project in 2013.
He has also regularly been a guest on BBC Radio, often performing in the Live Lounge and is also a regular on the Ginger NY TV show. This show will be a great way to start your Christmas Weekend but make sure you bring your dancing shoes – BOOK NOW
