An evening of voice, piano and strings with two of the South West’s finest songwriters

Trowbridge based BBC favourite Daisy Chapman is an incredibly well-travelled pianist and vocalist who draws influences from the anti-folk world. It’s hard to pinpoint Daisy’s unique style, but think Nick Cave meets Regina Spektor and you’re close. Every song harbours a dark story of love, lust and loss told through her exquisite voice and piano, accompanied by string trio, double bass and drums bringing the performance to harmonious ending every time.

Daisy has performed as part of Crippled Black Phoenix (members of Portishead and Hawkwind) and is also lead vocalist for new prog outfit Venus Principle (ex CBP members, plus At The Gates, Ison, Louise Lemon) but her sound is very much her own.

Daisy has graced the stage at festivals such as Glastonbury, 2000 Trees, Breminale and Fusion Festival – her music clearly transcends boundaries and genres.

Prepare to be moved.

“Instantly captivating” – The Independent
