Emma started playing guitar at the age of 2 and has gone on to learn bass, cello, piano, banjo, ukulele and mandolin.
She established a career as a singer songwriter in 2012, her original music and has achieved four consecutive play-listed singles on BBC Radio 2, extensive international radio play in the UK, Europe and Australia and an iTunes single of the week with her song “Riptide”
She’s sold out headline shows and supported The Feeling, Take That, Wet Wet Wet, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Train, Simply Red to name a few!
Emma’s music has been used on many TV shows on BBC, ITV, Sky and Channel 4, and even featured on a TV show in China which was broadcast to 75 million people, gaining her over 500 million + streams on Chinese streaming site NetEase!
BLÁNID
Rising indie-folk artist BLÁNID has been making waves across the UK and beyond.
Her introspective lyricism and hauntingly powerful vocals have garnered her plays on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6, RTÉ Radio 1 and more; appearances on RTÉ 1’s The Late Late Show, All Arts TV & PBS; and was the featured vocalist slot on both Netflix’s ‘The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf’, and 2023’s ‘Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin’ video game.
Fresh off her UK tour with American folk icon Judy Collins, BLÁNID is a seasoned live performer. In 2023 she played major Celtic folk festivals TradFest & Celtic Connections, and supported Eddi Reader, KÍLA, Sharon Shannon, Ciaran Lavery, Rónán Ó Snodaigh and more.
Starting strong in 2024, she showcased at Whelan’s ‘Ones to Watch’ in January, and her debut EP will be released later this year.
