RACKHOUSE PILFER are a fiery & exciting band who have been getting rave reviews with their Roots blend of IrishAmericana. The rise of RACKHOUSE PILFER is unstoppable!
They have been enthralling crowds throughout Ireland, Europe and Nashville and were Special Guests to Imelda May at SLIGO LIVE where they were a big hit with the audience, so much so that Imelda May invited them to join her for other dates.
RACKHOUSE PILFER jetted off to Nashville, Tennessee to record their album “LOVE AND HAVOC” at Alex the Great studios with producer Brad Jones. Brad has worked with a long list of Pop, Rock and Alternative Country artists including Steve Earl, John Prine, John Hiatt, Josh Rouse and Bobby Bare Jr.
In 2014 RACKHOUSE PILFER were awarded ‘Live Band of the Year’ by Hot Press & Jaegermeister, recording in Nashville, 1st headline tour of Ireland & loads of great Festival shows RACKHOUSE PILFER pushed forward in 2015 – concentrating on their reputation in Ireland whilst working on their upcoming album. Alongside this the band we’re invited by Producer Ethan Johns (Paul McCartney, Kings of Leon, Ryan Adams, Kaiser Chiefs etc.) to be the session band on 2 songs on Sir Tom Jones latest album ‘Long Lost Suitcase’ (2015). Rackhouse featured on the track ‘Honey, Honey’ a duet with Imelda May and the lead single from the album, and also the track ‘Factory Girl’ a Rolling Stones cover.
