In support of the One Billion Rising Revolution – building solidarity against the exploitation of women.
This evening is a celebration, that we live in a country where we have the ability to express ourselves through the Arts especially dance – in it’s many forms and spoken word. The Monkeys and friends are rising to show we are determined to create a new kind of consciousness – one where violence will be resisted until it is unthinkable. We call upon YOU, on all people to rise for others, and not just for ourselves. We want to bring awareness on the amount of violence that many people of the world are subjected to today, especially women and girls.
