Nearly Dan are counting down to the ecstasy of their fifth sell out show at the Chapel.
Why? Because as any major dude will tell you Nearly Dan are a “truly outstanding group of musicians. The Chapel was Standing Room Only, too packed to dance, as full as I’ve seen it” wrote Listomania’s Charley Dunlap.
Reelin’ in the years, the nine strong Nearly Dan promise all the Steely Dan favourites in a two hour-plus show. Prepared to do it again, the band promise less tribute, more homage to the meticulously crafted grooves and allusive lyrical style of Donald Fagen & Walter Becker.
Nearly Dan’s approach is faithful, though not reverential, and as tight as their namesakes. They bring their own unique spirit and spontaneous humour to every concert.
“Those sassy cynical songs were given life by their sheer enthusiasm and passion for playing. It was a great night out”, said the Financial Times.
